Charis Kids seeks to help children know and experience God intimately by spending time each week worshiping Him, learning from His Word, and listening to His voice. We love teaching kids that serving God is FUN and the best decision they will ever make!
Charis Kids' Store
Each week your child can earn points for our Charis Kids' Store by doing the following:
Bringing their Bible
Bringing a Friend
Participating
Learning their weekly Memory Verse and/or Declaration
Children can use the points to get prizes from our Charis Store. We have a variety of toys, candies, chocolates, pens, notebooks, etc. that kids can pick from to take home with them. Kids can use their points each week or save them to get a prize worth more points.

Who will care for my child while I am in a worship service?
We have amazing volunteers who love kids and love the Lord! Pastors Neil and Sarah are graduates from Charis Bible College and have been in youth and children’s ministry for the past 15 years. We are dedicated to providing safe environments for kids with loving, caring adults. Each of our volunteers and staff completed an application and passed a background check.
How do I check my child in?
You will begin by filling out an information sheet at our church Info Center that tells us about your child. You and your child will be given a sticker name tag with a number that is specific to you. One number will be assigned per family. Please keep your name tag sticker handy for pick up. Your child’s sticker will be placed on their shirt. How do I pick up my child from the Children’s Church?
Keeping children safe is our top priority! When you pick up your child you must present your sticker name tag/number to the person at the desk. That person will then bring your child to you. The number you gave and the child’s number must match. No one will be allowed to take your child from children’s church without that number. We will not allow any person under the age of 18 to pick up a child. That includes older siblings under 18.
If my child isn’t ready to go into Children’s Church can they attend main service?
Definitely! Your child is welcome to sit with you during service until they are ready to join us in Charis Kids. We would love to personally talk with you and your child to help them become familiar with us and more comfortable. It is our desire to help them feel connected and excited about all that is happening in Charis Kids.
What will my child do during children’s church?
Each week we have praise and worship, a Bible teaching, games, and a time for prayer and listening to Holy Spirit.
Are snacks available for my child?
We will occassionaly have snacks. There is candy available at the Store that kids can purchase with their Charis Points. Your child can bring a water bottle if he/she would like. We also have a water fountain they can access at any point during the service. If your child has a food allergy please indicate that on your child’s information sheet at Check-In.
